Reducing New Hire Turnover

The Problem:

How long do new hires last in your business? If more than 50% make it through the first year, you’re doing well. The direct, and indirect, cost of this is insanely high and totally avoidable. You need to help new consultants to experience success as early as possible in their careers. But how?

The Solution:

  • Hire the right person in the first place.
  • Develop a tailored 90 day on-boarding plan.
  • Share the training load with senior consultants and other managers.
  • Manage and support performance over the first 180 days.

Planning and Business Forecasting

The Problem:

If you don’t take control of your targets and develop a clear plan, you put yourself under unnecessary pressure. Successful managers are masters of their own metrics. Can you create a plan that gets buy-in from both your team and your director?

The Solution:

  • Understand how the business planning process works.
  • Use current performance metrics to set realistic future targets.
  • Translate targets into an operational plan.
  • Convince your team and directors to buy-in to the plan.
